Great cable car service in a very cheap price of 2300 cop. Nice ride of about 25 min above comuna 13, with crazy views of the entire city. Highly recommend!!

Fairly standard metro station that leads to the heart of San Javier. Serves as a connect to local buses that take passengers to the Comuna 13 Escalators. The station itself has few amenities, however the surrounding area is lined with restaurants, cafes, shops and other commerce.
Truly easy to use transit. Even for an English speaker. Safe, clean and plenty of space.
The station is well guarded and clean. It is also the transfer point from the train to the Teleferico (you need not pay again). Beware, this is a meeting point for the Comuna 13 walking tour. This part of town used to be the battleground for the cartels in the Escobar era. Well actually, it still is. When I arrived for the tour, I was advised not to leave the train station. Someone had been shot the day prior. However, a very large and well-equipped police force had secured the premise.
This is NOT the place to take the metro cable to beautiful Arvi park. That stop is Avecado.
Get off at this station if you wish to take the cable cars.
