Went to get a surgery here in Medellin, the doctor told me all the prices of the surgery and told me I had to get a ecografia, and to bring it to him the next Friday, no specific time, no appointment was made after , just bring the ecografia and we'll go from there. I followed all the instructions and came 2 hours early just to be safe on time, the lady said "come back at 1 thats when the doctor will be here" so I came back at 1 only to find out that they were trying to charge me 90,000 pesos to show him the ecografia, I told them that no one mention that I would get charge for this, and the doctor didn't tell me anything about paying another 90,000 on Friday.They didn't even give me a actual time and they didn't even write down a extra appointment for me the first time, so they are just lying to my face just to get more money from me because they see I'm a foreigner from the USA. The first time I got here they tried to charge me 150,000 for the first appointment when on the website it said 140,000 at that time that I made the appointment, the lady quickly realize I wasn't going to pay the 10,000 difference and changed it to 140,000 again. Another thing the doctor told me the ecografia should be between 50,000-60,000 I go down stairs where they do the ecografias and they notice I'm American and my Spanish is bad and tried charging me 200,000!!!!! I told them no and I had to call multiple places and got one for 60,000 just like he said should be the price, the other calls where max 130,000.... this is all to show that these people in these clinics are liars to foreigners. I don't care if she had told me I had to pay 50 pesos more,the fact that their trying to get more money through lying is not right. Horrible experience
