Booked its private room for its rating and location for one night just to experience. The private room is as expensive as hotels and it has no hot water/shower. Hence the 3 stars. However, the service was good with limited English though. Just not up to my expectation for the price I paid. Otherwise it is very good quality as a hostel.

Great location, close to the old town. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast is very good!! Everyone is friendly and helpful. The only thing is that there are not enough bathrooms for such large amount of beds. Otherwise, I fully recommend this place
If you want to experience something very interesting during your stay in Cartagena Colombia I highly recommend the Clock hostel. Incredible mix of history and modern travel lifestyle.
Great check in. Very friendly staff. Rooms were generally nice. The pub isn't part of the property and is a 2 minute walk down the road. This kinda takes away from the hostel vibe as we wanted to be around people. The only downside was that the rooms smelled a bit mouldy but the staff did put scented candles in the room to alleviate that on arrival. There was also quite a lot of hair in the drain. There was no breakfast available, I assume that was because of coronavirus.
Nice hostel near plazas and clock tower. Very clean, I had a private room and found it to be comfortable. If your looking for a party atmosphere this might not be for you, if your looking for somewhere to relax in style and comfort while being able to access all Cartagena has to offer at an affordable price I’d highly recommend The Clock. They also offer discounted food and alcohol at the clock pub.
When I was browsing around for a place to rest, I looked at several Hotels, AirBnB, and other Hostels. I happened to originally be staying at a Hotel, but I ran into this place while in the downtown area. The staff was super friendly and let me walk the property. Sometimes I’m hesitant about hostels due to cleanliness or being able to sleep. Nevertheless, the Clock is an impecable place. They have staff that cleans all day. The rooms, restrooms, kitchen, and pool area are super clean! It is quite enough so you can sleep, but they have te pool area down stairs if you wish to have the party going! The bedrooms are more spacious than the average hostel! The architecture is very artsy for those who appreciate art. They also have a host who will take you out on a bike and show you around town for 20,000 pesos (equivalent to almost 7 dollars) The Clock is a must experience.
The beds were nice!!! Nice vibes, nice people. Showers aren't really warm :-( and haven't tried the breakfast so can't rate that
I stayed here for one night and I wish I could have stayed for my entire time in Cartagena. Aircon was strong, felt like a private space and I have to say, the staff hit it out of the park! They were so nice and even helped me find a way to Barranquilla five days after I had checked out - they even remembered me!
