Absolutely fabulous!! This is a great activity to explore Cartagena through food. Chef Maria does a great job with the class; just the right blend of information, hands on cooking, and of course eating! All in a beautiful open space. Having been to Cartagena numerous times, we wanted to do something different and fun to occupy some time and learn to make our favorite foods; this was the perfect activity!! Food was delicious and easy to make when back at home. Hands down don't think twice and book it!!!

Wow, absolutely fantastic! María is super cool with an interesting life story and a non-traditional path to becoming a chef and restauranteur. This was the most fun I've ever had taking a cooking class, and the food turned out amazing. If you take any cooking class in Cartagena this should be it.
We had an amazing time with Maria! She is a wonderful teacher and enthusiastic. We were a family of 4 which included two kids. She was very patient with them and they enjoyed cooking with Maria. Her kitchen is beautiful and clean with great views. We made delicious food and she even added an extra class on empanadas which we were excited to make on our own. Thank you for the amazing experience! Please visit us when you stop by Atlanta!!
Really great experience. Very hands on, you do not just watch Maria cook, you participate in each step along the way. Highly recommend. Actually learn how to cook local favorites like coconut rice and fried plantains.
Maria is an incredible chef and a wonderful guide. She is very passionate and wants you to fully understand Columbian cuisine and culture. Food and market tour was 10!
Fantastic. While staying in town I had dinner here three times and even took a cooking class, something I never do. My only complaint is I haven't finished trying everything on the menu. I cannot wait to come back and take another cooking class. The coconut rice is work a trip to Colombia by itself. Wonderful staff and perfect evening ambiance. Great work.
