It is a tourist place! That you could go climbing and spent time with your family and friends who like the adventures! The view is breathtaking, you can see all Cali untill the top of the mountain! You must go there.

It is recommend to start the hiking in the morning around 6-7am. Just walk up the street next to the gato del río. There was no police in the morning, but so many locals that were doing there sports, running up and down the hill. It took me (average sportive guy) about 1 hour to get to the top. Some parts are a. It difficult but it's makeable. On the top you can have a nice fresh juice for 3000 pesos. Very good. Don't go after midday, cuz it's too hot and maybe less people so more dangerous. To be safe, don't take much money or iPhone etc.
It was quite an adventure! We were caught in a thunder storm and survived:DDDD very nice hiking route, even with a four-year-old.
