The hostel is fine, but that's really messy, the most important to know: The owner Diana is a very dishonest person. What I saw in one week: the dog urinated on the clothes of one customer, and they throw away all clothes from 2 customers from the laundry (never found again).

Super cool staff, great hostel, comfortable rooms, good breakfast. They now have Bruno, the dog which is so nice! They rescued Bruno from the streets and he is a star there. We got really wet one day and they told us to use the drier machine which was really cool of them.
I usually wouldn't complain about a party hostel entirely furnished with pallets who gives you two raw eggs for breakfast while you fight to find coffee, bread, and oil - except for that I paid 75,000 per night for a room.
Where to start...we booked this place based on a rating of 9.1 and the promise of friendly staff. We were completely shocked by the attitude of the volunteers, who did not care about the hostel or the guests. The owners were nowhere to be seen. We constantly had to ask who was even working, as everyone was just lying around watching Netflix all day. All volunteers were from the same nationality and were only speaking to each other in their own language (not Spanish nor English). There was absolutely no vibe. On top of that it was shabby and uncared for. The common space was okay but always filled with lounging volunteers so there was nowhere to chill. We thought we had done something wrong, but we spoke to a couple of other guests and volunteers who shared our opinion about the hostel. Do not stay here! We are upset that we wasted 3 nights in this place while there are many other great hostels out there in Cali.
I loved staying at kilele hostel. The place is huge and spacious with lots of room for socializing and watching music videos or Netflix or whatever you want. And there is a pool! I was so ready to be in the heat with a clean pool after spending time in the cold weather in bogota. Also a little place with some weights to use if you want. Free breakfast in the morning and a kitchen with all you need to prepare your own food. The location is super safe up a hill and I found the neighborhood very charming, I would live there if I could. The owners are super cool and you are free to do as you please, stay our super late and party Cali style no questions asked. I fell in love with Cali and made many friends at this hostel.
It wasn't that fun... Hard drinks tasted like pure water even after they poored more.. shame
