Awesome place..the rose's garden was beautiful. The palm trees was expectacular. The lake was marvelous. It was very nice to have a guided tour. Mrs Leidy was very knowledgeable and polite. I highly recommend this botanical garden.

Going when the guided tour option made my visit feel fresh. Although I've gone in other times, with the guide it made it a different experience. Highly recommend.

beautiful botanical garden, which unfortunately can only be visited with a guide. however, the guide was really good.

Really beautiful. I love that our guide is an actual biologist.

We loved our tour of the Bogota Botanical Garden. I look forward to returning when they open then new pavilions. They will have more tropical plants and flowers. We saw some beautiful plants. I wish there were more signage for the names of the plants. Definitely a lovely place to spend an afternoon. I have a longer review on my blog DownshiftingPRO.com

I love this place and I went there many times. But I don’t recommend you to visit this garden now (December 2020). Only guided tours are available, and it changes the experience totally. On this tour you can’t walk, as you want, you can’t enjoy the silence and nature. You have to follow the guide, who stops every 50 meters for 10-15 minutes and reads text from Wikipedia about this or that tree. We spent 10 minutes staring at the lettuce bed. Seriously! The tour lasts 2 hours, and 1,5 hours of this time you just standing in the crowd and waiting. It’s boring, tiresome and disappointing. And you can’t leave the group, you always have to stay close to the guide. After this tour they basically escort you to the exit (probably to be sure that you won’t enjoy this place). I understand that administration tries to control visitors during this hard times but they managed it in the worst possible way.

Amazing park with over 1200 unique plants species. Spent a couple hours there and will be going again to explore the grounds some more.
