If you’re looking for a free bike tour this a great option to see a lot of the city in a short amount of time. The guides were very professional and make you feel safe as there is always someone ready to stop traffic as we crossed various streets. The bike equipment and helmets they use are also high quality. I liked that they also let us try one of the exotic fruit juices at the park that the guide included.

The walking tour of the heart of Bogota was fantastic! Our guide, Gioser, took us through the three main squares of the city, explaining much of Bogota's fascinating history. We also sampled delicious juices at Mercado La Concordia, saw the oldest remaining house in Bogota, and were able to sample some excellent Colombian coffee. I highly recommend the Bogota free walking tour!

My tour guide for visiting Monserrate was Gioser Jaen! Best tour guide ever. He’s a very knowledgeable guy and professional. Whatever questions you have regarding the tour, he will take the time to explain in detail and even about the city of Bogota as a whole, the good and the bad. Definitely recommend

Tours with Gran Colombia Tours are always entertaining and filled with history, adventures, exercise and fun. Going through Bogotá, the historic center and monserrate is always a great adventure. Also, the trips to La chorrera, Zipaquira and Guatavita are ways to connect with nature and get to know better Colombia with the best company.

This review is based mostly on the experience with our tour guide, Gioser Jaen. He was very fluent in both Spanish and English. We were visiting from San Francisco CA United States The booking online was pretty standard and streamlined. We were running a little late, but was able to message Gioser through their internal messaging. We did the 3-hour walking tour. Gioser was very knowledgeable, articulate and patient. We were able to have good intellectual conversation which at times drifted outside of La Candaleria history. So as mentioned, the booking is straightforward but in order to share in the same experience we would recommend requesting Gioser Jaén as your tour guide. Ask to see other proof of ID other than work badge to make sure you really get him tooo!!! I learned that you need to trust but verify a lot here in Colombia.

We took a tour of Sumapaz Paramo with Mateo and it was absolutely perfect. Granted, we were blessed with wonderful weather for the hike, but Mateo facilitated and supplemented the itinerary with a wonderful mix of history, culture, science, and spirituality. Bear in mind that booking a “private” tour doesn’t mean that others won’t be on it with you (we were with a family of four) and the rigor of the hike is real - don’t do this if you aren’t sure footed and able to deal with the altitude. It was a truly amazing experience that I’ll never forget.
