The best bike tour in Bogota We made the bike-tour & the mountain bike, they were really really amazing.Biking we got a very very good cultural knowledges about the city and Colombia.we talked about conquers, foundation,independence,colony and republic,it was clearly explained by KONOS Edgar he was our guide in Bogota. Bogota Graffiti bike tour. We found this awesome tour offered by a native enthusiastic company (Bogotravel tours), and unlike what people think is great to ride bike in Bogota. They are really informative before start the bike tour bogota. They gave me a good mountain bike and the equipment, the tour start from La Candelaria our tour guide Fernando was fantastic and easy to understand because he was able to speak above the noise. We saw the crazy emerald trade center (Unique in the world), coffee roaster factory, a vary of fruits, we took a look of the Bogota beststreet art that Fernando explained to everybody and even he taught us to paint a Graffiti is so colourfull Bogota and is exmple for the rest of cities in the world. This tour provided a way of getting to know the city much faster than on foot and learn about the Graffiti capital's and its history. It was the best way to see the local Bogota. It was reasonably inexpensive, exciting, and interesting. Fernando and Bogotravel tours' staff was engaging for the entire 4 hour tour. He also took pictures all day that he emailed them to me. Brand new bikes, very courteous knowledgeable staff and guides, passionate about Bogota and touring folks around the city. We highly recommend! If you go on a Sunday, some major roads are closed to vehicles and people are biking everywhere, it is an awesome experience.
Bullshit. Unwilling and unpleasant staff, old bikes in a very poor condition (e.g. very used tires with a minimal pattern, debatable and loose break handles; if you are going to go up the hills, it can even be dangerous especially on the way back) and a different-higher price offered in reality than earlier over the phone. Definitely don’t recommend!
Absolute ripper off. Bikes were terrible. It was very expensive for what you got. and then you get stung with having to pay extra if you use the bikes for over 4 hours. Definitely do not recommend
Superbiketour, we saw alot and enjoyed the tour, and also the visit to the museo del basura. The guide did a really good job. The biketour is a good start for a trip in Colombia. And then you can continue with a motorbiketour with www.motortrails.com or www.motortrails.de start is Santa Marta.
