CoSchool design and operate high quality programs to develop social & emotional skills in youth from all backgrounds via hands on projects. We focus on 3 main types of program. CoLead (1 day, 1 week, 4 month+), CampCo (2 weeks), CoTrain - teachers (varies). We focus on 4 skill areas: conflict resolution, decision making, self reflection, grit. Focus: teachers & 10-18 yr olds. All of our programs focus on experiences and project based learning, in which students work together to solve problems that matter to them in their schools and communities using Design Thinking (e.g. environmental, social problems). We often bring students together from public and private schools. We believe that our programs will positively affect: 1. Graduation rates 2. School attendance 3. Skill acquisition 4. Teacher quality 5. Well being We believe that our approach can eventually lead to changes in education public policy, better leadership across sectors, and happier/longer lives.
