Top local seafood in Barranquilla. This is one of the best spots for seafood in the city. Don't be terrified when you see the restaurant. Usually the ugliest places in latin america have the best food. We tried the robalo in coconut sauce and it was just amazing, the Lebranche which has a more fishy taste but also very good and we had the Mojarra Blanca which is one of the favorites in the city. For appetizers we had the ceviche camaron. All dishes come with a fish soup as first plate and sides are always Patacones (fried green plantain) and coconut rice. So when you ordered plates don't ask for sides because they usually come all the same way. We were four and it was plenty of food by the way. The only take cash.
It is definitely not a tourist place. It is a restaurant where families from neighborhood come for lunch or dinner. During lunch it is very crowded, but seems cozy as the locals are all very friendly. The menu is almost entirely seafood, and each item comes with rice, patacones and seafood soup. Cheap beer. My favorite place in Barranquilla

Fish was excellent. Came with soup and coconut rice plus a couple a plate of avocado. It was all quite good. Portions sizes were large.
Open air courtyard. Place is packed after 11:30-12:00… great prices on fresh grilled, stewed, etc. seafood. Very reasonable pricing.
