Very nice views (some of the best I’ve ever seen). However the infrastructure is not the best (no A/C, only one scanner when traveling international) and that makes it quite uncomfortable. That being said, they’re improving the installations and soon there will be a completely new terminal (maybe will be ready by early or mid 2019). This airport does not have boarding gates and instead you board through stairs which might be an issue for travelers on wheelchairs; however the staff is so nice that I’m sure they’d offer the best they can do and I personally love to board through stairs because you can take pictures and see the aircraft closer. Hopefully the improvements won’t kill the magic!

It's a small airport with, apparently, 2 "gates", a couple coffee shops, one restaurant. It is being expanded.

Small airport, no COVID consciousness. People are elbow to elbow, no one to enforce the mask rule. Want to follow U.S. TSA rules but are way out of their league. Slow x-ray process because of the one small x-ray space. Check of your id and boarding, about ten times, as if you miraculously turn into someone else. Very disappointing experience.

Risky Business

No air conditioning, super hot. There’s stray dogs running around next to the gate, eating people’s food, and the airport staff does nothing. Cherry on top: the airport security confiscated my nail clippers, which I have taken all over the world without problems. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she refused, and said she doesn’t have a supervisor. Long lines everywhere, staff are extremely slow (I saw several people missed their flight waiting through the numerous lines). Wouldn’t be surprised if this airport is corrupt with a certain business...
