This is my go-to coffee tour. Whenever I have friends and family come to visit Colombia I take them on the Cafe de Altura Tour. Santiago is a multi-generation coffee grower. He's enthusiastic about coffee. The tour is extremely informative not only about the process of growing coffee but the whole coffee experience. From coffee bean seedling to roasting for market. After the tour you go to his coffee shop that he runs with his sister. Here you taste all different types of coffees and how they can be served. His sister makes pastries which are fabulous. My family that has visited Colombia and bought lots of different coffees from different plantations voted Cafe Altura the best!

Exelent place to get great quality coffee
El tour es muy interesante puesto que Santiago, la persona que lo hace, es uno de los miembros de la familia dueña de la finca, conoce muy bien el tema y explica claramente. El recorrido por el cafetal fue muy entretenido e instructivo, solo nos pareció que hizo falta haber visto el procesamiento del grano con las máquinas en funcionamiento.
Como operador de turismo lo recomiendo, es un recorrido auténtico en interacción con los diferentes tipos de café, frutas y flores. Santiago el guía, excelente conocedor y amena guianza. El almuerzo es delicioso
